Fish-n-Picnic June 9th, 2022 Thursday

The Eighth Fish-N-pic event was on Thursday June 9, 2022 at Bald Eagle Lake Park in White Bear Lake Minnesota.  Over the eight previous years over $43,000 was donated, including this year's donations totaling $3775. Not once during the last eight events was the weather ever a factor.

Over those years many volunteers were necessary to prepare the award banquet that awaited the hungry fishing participants. They included Kris Hayden, Emlie Poss, Marge Jessen, Terry Rahn, Delores Olson, Elaine Sime and Mary Porter.

Many of the fishing participants attended most or all of the yearly events. They included Bob Hardy, Matt Hardy, Ed Clausman, Peter Poss, Carl Jessen, Dave Birk, Grant Gugisberg, Kim Gugisberg, John Van Berkom, George Krienke, Dick Olson, Doug Erbeck, George Ruth, Mike McMenomy and Dave Marchiafava.

The FishNpic event will not be returning next year but we celebrate how the event brought us all together to support the museum. Thank you to all, it means a lot!

In 2023 the MVHM staff will be focusing on ideas to engage alumni and students, an example being our recent Book Launch Event which had 52 attendees.
