The Minnesota Veterinary Historical Museum was established in 1985 to collect artifacts related to veterinary medicine in Minnesota and educate Minnesotans about the heritage of the Minnesota veterinary profession and to recognize the people responsible for its progress.

Preserve the past, help the future. The MVHM has extensive collections of old photographs, manuscripts, press clippings, books and instruments.  We focus on collecting oral histories of Minnesota veterinarians interviewed by admiring colleagues including assistance with digitally recording the interview and guiding question selection.
